Rossmount Rural Retreat is a host farm offering a unique Bed and Breakfast experience for visitors to Gympie, Rainbow Beach - gateway to Fraser Island, and Tin Can Bay on the Cooloola Coast. We are a family owned accommodation business operating from the beautiful natural property of David and Jeanette Wilson at Rossmount, Ross Creek, Goomboorian on the outskirts of Gynmpie located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.
Relax, Refresh and Rejuvinate at Rossmount, accommodation where you will enjoy country hospitality and learn about our exotic fruit orchards and the unspoilt environment that makes Rossmount special Spread over 35 acres of idyllic countryside, you can taste and learn about exotic fruits, canoe, fish, and glimpse the platypus in the lake Watch the wildlife, identify the birds and enjoy walking through the bush. We are one of seven farms in the Cooloola Farm Trail, on the first week in May and September. We also conduct plant propagation, grafting and marcotting lessons during the year We have a commercial fruit tree nursery and a persimmon orchard supplying Brisbane Markets. Our fruiting season is between mid February to the end of March.
