The Spirit of the Wild is a wonderful way to view Macquarie Harbour and Gordon River. A luxury boat, friendly crew and wonderful food and beverages. The commentary and stops on the cruise was excellent and the whole trip highly recommended. Thank you.

This half day cruise exceeded our expectations. The premium upper deck was well worth it. The journey through hell’s gates was spectacular and the “quiet” cruising through the Gordon river was amazing! The guided Sarah valley tour was informative and poignant The food and wine was amazing and the service was faultless, thank you Hannah and Loretta. Would highly recommend this cruise!

Our day onboard the Spirit of the Wild was unforgettable. If it’s possible, the upgrade to Premium is well worth the extra cost. There are large leather seats providing comfort and sensational visibility of the Macquarie Harbour and the beautiful Gordon River. The food, wines/beers and service were excellent. The boat is very quiet which makes for a peaceful experience and the opportunity to appreciate the wilderness area as it is. This has been a highlight of our trip to Tasmania. Special mention to the very helpful and friend staff in the bookings office/ shop who helped us with a lost bag. 🙏

What an amazing day we had! We booked the Premier upstairs deck, and it was definitely worth the extra money. Staff onboard were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable! We had a couple of stops along the way, both of which were very interesting and enjoyable. We were treated to some beautiful gourmet Tasmanian produce throughout the day, and lovely Tasmanian wines. There was no shortage of food! It was spectacular cruising through the Wilderness World Heritage area. It was beautiful and so serene.

An amazing cruise that was a highlight of our trip to Tasmania. The vessell is very well maintained, we chose the upper deck that had very comfortable large leather chairs, the food & wine were of a high quality & well worth the higher price tag. It ran on an electric motor which was very quiet whilst cruising along the river. Hannah our guide was informative & had a great sense of humour. Likewise Zoe who attended to our needs was delightful.

Friends recommended we upgrade to the premier deck from the standard we had booked and we are glad we did. The view was great and the seats comfortable. The weather was terrible so we didn't get to see the reflections but that's life and it was nice being in the comfort of the boat in awful conditions. We still did the island tour and enjoyed it, we just rugged up. The food was lovely but we did miss out on the nice things for breakfast as some patrons piled their plates up meaning those at the end like us missed out and only got a muffin. We made sure we got in the line early for lunch! We aren't drinkers but were happy we could have hot chocolates throughout the day, which was lovely. Loved the video commentary.

A group of 4 friends had a great experience on today's cruise. We were on the main deck and thought it to be excellent value for the service, the food, the scenery which is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Also the two land tours were very interesting with our guide at Sarah's Island being fantastic, combining her knowledge with a great sense of humour. We all had a great time

We did this trip today. It was magnificent. The weather was perfect but everything about it was top notch- great commentary, great service (thank you Zoe) and an all round quality experience. The food was a standout- plenty and excellent quality. Highly recommend.
